CRISPR libraries

The "T. gonfio" and "T.spiezzo" libraries were developed by the research group of Prof. Aguzzi (bioXriv and CRISPR4ALL). These libraries allow the precise manipulation of each human gene, thus enabling the exploration of gene functions in the entire human genome, specific gene families, or pathways of interest. The libraries can be applied for pooled and arrayed screens. Due to the ability to package the plasmids into lentiviral vectors, they can be applied to a wide spectrum of different cell types, including immortalized transfectable cell lines, primary human cells, and human induced pluripotent stem cells. 

The UZH CRISPR screening hub gives access to the genome-wide libraries, thematically arranged sublibraries  (see Table) as well as individual plasmids and lentiviral vectors from these libraries.
